Settling into Melbourne

I never thought I’d say it but I’m now living in Melbourne and what an absolute cracking start to the year. I had the pleasure of working on a new play in a workshop at RMIT. “Lady of Arrows” an adaptation of the book “Someone else’s war” written by Phil Kafacaloudes. Over three days we dove into the script and wrestled our way through what we thought could be a solid play to take to the next stage of workshops. It’s amazing how Phil has adapted this play for his thesis and I do hope it goes further into a screenplay. As Tommy Devito says in Jersey Boys ( currently being performed by the very talented Cameron MacDonald ) “Melbourne, delivers”.
